Terms and Conditions
Until receipt of the booking fee all bookings are provisional.
Payments by the client
The client must pay a deposit of £20 to confirm the booking by bank transfer to Juliet Cunnington. This £20 will be redeemable against the practice fee. If a practice is never taken this booking fee will be lost. Upon receipt of such payment, you will receive confirmation of this through email, text or whatsapp message.
After a successful practice, if the client wishes me to return on the wedding day, a non-refundable deposit of £50 must be paid. The rest of the balance must be paid in cash on the wedding day or by bank transfer to Juliet Cunnington at least 24 hours before the wedding day.
Cancellations by you
Should you wish to cancel your provisional booking before the booking fee is paid no charges will be levied but the date will be released.
The £20 booking fee is non-refundable.
The £50 deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation within 60 days of the final appointment = cancellation charge equivalent to 100% of the wedding day balance left to pay.
Should the client wish to cancel this booking at any stage written notice must be given either to [address and/or email]. Cancellation will take effect from the date of receipt of the written cancellation and you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that may have been levied. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt therefore the client is advised to check that the cancellation has been received.
Cancellations by me
Until the deposit is received, no booking, provisional or otherwise is made.
Once I confirm your booking, the date will be reserved for you.
In the event of an accident or severe illness, inclement weather conditions/act of god affecting myself getting to you on the actual wedding day I will try and find you a replacement artist. I have been in the industry for many years so have many makeup artist contacts who will be able to replicate my work using my photos and notes. I cannot be held responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, or for any delays caused by events beyond my control. In the event that I cannot find anyone else available that I would recommend, then the full extent of my liabilities’ would be to give you a full refund.
I reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund, if at any time during the trial any member of your bridal party becomes abusive or violent or displays any behaviour that I feel offensive.
The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist's website and social media pages
If your wedding is postponed due to Covid-19, either by your venue, or government guidelines, your booking fee and monies paid so far will be transferred to your new date if available. If you opt for a new date that Juliet cannot offer, your makeup practice payment (if completed) will not be refunded but any further money paid will be refundable.
As of the 12th April 2021 weddings can go ahead and unless you have notified Juliet of change of plans your 2021 booking is applicable to Juliet’s standard T&C’s unless changes by government are implemented, venue enforce change to Covid restrictions prevent the wedding day proceeding.
If I am unable to attend your wedding day due to having symptoms of Covid-19 and needing to self isolate I will endeavour to find a makeup artist to act as a replacement. If an alternative artist is not an option the client will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
